Going to work everyday not knowing if this is the day before I'm laid off----even with 27 years of seniority.

My spirit was heavy, and depression was on the horizon.
Sunday morning I tuned to the radio station that my pastor and co pastor host each week as I gathered my pillow under my head, still deciding if whether or not I'm going to church. The topic was about negativity. As I listened, I heard co-pastor say, "You have to encourage yourself ......". When I heard those few words, they illuminated my spirit. I got up and got ready for church.

After the alter call I followed several other members to the prayer room and I got a charge in my spirit as one of the elders prayed for me. I repented and began to feel renewed. Wow! Yes! Halleluah!! Then my spirit got a double whammy in the parking lot on my to my car as Elder Greg and I spoke to one another. He must have sensed something in my spirit because he began praying for me targeting the same areas that had already been prayed for me before. How amazing that God always knows what we need even before we ask.
I thank God! Because it was a great day!!!
