Due to wage cuts, days off without pay, and furloughs working for the City of Detroit, for months I've been struggling trying to keep my basic living expenses caught up, but one thing came after another, and even my car has been leaking antifreeze, and I got so far behind in my rent I was summoned to court. I told the judge that I have been paying on the payment arrangements that I made with the ...leasing manager, but their lawyer said that the company wasn't aware of any payment arrangements. The judge told me that I had until August 16th to pay what was due which was $1,150.50 or an order to evict me would be issued! I was stunned! I couldn't believe this. I've been living in this apartment for going on four years and I'm one of their best tenants. I've made payment arrangements in the past and I've always kept my word. Ok so now what? I had one option and I'm hoping it's fruitful. Sorry, I'm not disclosing this information but It's legit. The check came today and it was $100 short! Taxes! They took out that much! Man! I guess I'll have to make up the difference when I get paid. I went to the bank and deposited the check in my account and went home to write a check to take to the leasing agent. I walked around to the office and handed the young lady my check and she looked up my account and promptly told me, "Okay, Ms. Winans, you have a zero balance. In fact, now you have a CREDIT of $100." I was like ... huh ...? She showed me my account on her computer screen and she was right. And the manager has also removed the late fee! I told her but the court ..... She explained to me that although I made an arrangement with the manager he has to still cover himself with his boss in case I don't keep the arrangements. He does that with everyone. No wonder the lawyer said he didn't know about any payment arrangements because now I understand that's between me and the manager and his looking out for me. I hurried up and went home and rewrote a check for the correct amount!
WON'T HE DO IT!! GOD IS AWESOME! ONLY WHEN WE TRUST HIM AND GO ON AND HAVE FAITH WILL GOD MOVE ON OUR BEHALF!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!!
